2025-2029 STRATEGIC PLAN

[excerpt from page 4 of the Strategic Plan]

Dear South Central Kansas Communities,

Thank you for supporting South Central Community Foundation over the last 30 years!

It has been such a wonderful journey and we look forward to the next thirty. With our future communities in minds, the SCCF Board of Directors and staff created the 2025-2029 Strategic Plan to help keep our main priorities in focus.

This plan established measurable goals to guide our next 5 years with the plan to evaluate after our 35th anniversary.

We so appreciate your continued support of the Foundation and please let us know if you have any questions or input for the Foundation’s future aspirations.

Sincerely,

Luke Kumberg, SCCF Board Chair

Holly Launchbaugh, SCCF Executive Director

2022 LISTENING TOUR REPORT

[excerpt, page 4 of the Listening Tour Report]

South Central Community Foundation created a Strategic Plan for 2019-2022. With the final year approaching quickly, the SCCF Board elected to host summer listening tours to gather input from the seven counties the Foundation serves including: Barber, Comanche, Kingman, Kiowa, Pratt, Rice, and Stafford.

SCCF has a mission of “Assuring a Bright Future for South Central Kansas” since 1994 and realized an in-depth review was a high priority.

With the current staff focus of donor funds, grants, and the Youth Making a Difference program, SCCF hoped that the summer listening tours would provide insight to where the Foundation is achieving great results and where the next Strategic Plan should focus our resources and energy.

We hope you find the discoveries mostly predictable but encouraging for the future of South Central Kansas. We make a promise to continue seeking input and suggestions as we adapt to our changing environment.
